Much to say/do.
Today we finished Macbeth in Lit class and I must say I did enjoy it. In some strange way I did. All the deceit, betrayal, mistrusting. How Shakespeare presented that aspect of the human being was nice. Or maybe it was because there were numerous quotes that I really liked from it. [Quote in my subject is from this play]. Also, our project that we did just shows how timeless his plays really are. How its so relative to almost any situation if seen from a general view.
Anyway, I had a conversation with two of my friends today about heaven. What exactly it is or is not. Is it just something everyone envisions. Or is there no heaven and all there really is after death is black darkness that we see. Like when we close our eyes before going to sleep. Our conscious is somewhat lost, or maybe it goes to sleep too. But then, one good point one friend made was how we envision heaven as just bliss; i.e. "hanging out with your little angel friends having fun over and over again...every day" I must say that could get boring if in heaven.Not easily, but once every so often you feel very repetitive. At least you're with your friends. most likely anyway. There was this other theory I heard or read somewhere that heaven is whatever you imagine to be. therefore, when you die, you go to that place, that state of mind and who knows what/who else will have the same mind set as you. Death is a mystery. That's why everyone is so afraid of it...the key word it being a mystery. No one knows about it until you experience it, and you can't exactly report back to what death really is. In almost all cases. That conversation got me thinking, as most of those conversations with friends do. But,, I'm thankful for that. Thank you my lovely friends.
One last thing. So if anyone else has read The Series of Unfortunate Events, you will understand what I'm about to say. I want to see the movie, I really do, see how it is all portrayed. But the previews make me a little irritated, they sort of make it seem that the movie is this quarkly unfortunate, making it a good funny light hearted deal, and there will be a happy ending. The book [regardless that it was for younger readers] was more grim, dark, the feeling of pitying the kids, and well, indeed unfortunate. I'm not saying that the movie should be in the genre of horror, I'm just saying I wish it was put in more of a dark comedy sense.
