Ack zombies!
A cold front has apparently decided to sit on top of Boulder all weekend, filling the sky with clouds andcrapping out "wintry mix." Since it's too nasty to hike or bike, but not snowy enough to snow shoe, Ryan and I decided to buy a new video game to play.
We picked "Left 4 Dead." Zombies OMG!!! They are so my favorite monster, and not only because they were my first introduction to Ryan. World War Z is one of my favorite books; Resident Evil is one of my favorite horror films. Shawn of the Dead is one of my favorite movies, period. I don't know what it is about zombies, but they make a fascinating foe.
Anyway, we were playing L4D all evening, which is why this post is so late. It is so fun! I've never really liked multi-player shooters, but I was having a blast. It was a great way to hole up and escape the chilly damp weather. Let other couples snuggle under a blanket while drinking wine in front of a cozy fire; we've got zombies to kill.
