Hannah, don't you dare second-guess your career choices and what all you've accomplished. A couple years is nothing. I mean, think about it...you were at JWU for two years and it seems like just yesterday I was helping you move into your dorm.

The career path you chose....along with most...requires climbing the promotion ladder. I think what is making you feel this way is the sudden change of lifestyle. Remember that you were just in college...and though that is somewhat of the "real world" your responsibilities for the most part are just school. Sure you kept yourself busy with work outside of school, and special functions, and all the other crazy stuff you were involved in but it wasn't really a REAL job, yanno?

You've finally entered the real world and are finally getting a taste of what is required of you when it comes to promotions. It will not come easy but you're the type that pushes through anything. Working at the Breakers is an accomplishment on it's own. You were the first intern from your school to get offered a job there for gawds sake!! I'm sure that when season rolls around, you won't be as bored because you'll have a lot to do in so little time.

That's another thing...for a while you've had eight hundred things to do in a small amount of time and for once everything around you has slowed down a bit. Don't interpret that as you being "trapped." Embrace what you've accomplished and hang in there for the good things that are to come. Though they may not be coming at you as quickly as you're used to, your hard work does shine through, and you will get recognized for it.

Anyway, don't talk to yourself and call me when you're feeling like this. After all, what are friends for?....akum BEST friends...

^_^
