(no subject)
I don't know how to start this. It's awkward.
You see, I never really dated before Joshua- not seriously or officially (though there was a funny discussion once where Jeremy and I decided that we are Exs... despite having never technically been together... hah!). Joshua also never really dated before me. Unserious things- a week long or never official or on the line between friend and... something else... that stuff happened on both sides... but nothing serious until each other. Which is a really meaningful and lovely part of our togetherness.
But there's this little problem where... we don't know how to date.
Neither of us ever have. Our first "date" was... our first date. So neither of us know how to date, what one does on a date, or especially how to date when "dinner and a movie" gets old. There has to be some fun stuff around austin to do on a friday night that constitutes a date... but if there is... we're not familiar. Now, part of it is that and the other part is that he works nights so thursday and friday are our only options. Part of it is money, part of it is not wanting to leave the baby with my mom too often.
But for the most part its's just that we're clueless. The only thing we've ever done when going out is karaoke or movies. And while there's lots of great movies out.. it no longer seems worth it to spend 16 dollars to sit in the dark and ignore each other for 2 hours. I want to do something where we enjoy each other!
So... any ideas, Austin people?
