[Everything has changed since Rebecca was taken. Her best friend is gone. Her roommate? Returned home. A close friend of hers had died. Before she can find out any of this, though, she has the side-effects of her own recent experiment to deal with.

It starts near the barracks, where Rebecca wakes up. She's not the same, though. She has a faint red ( Read more... )

[Seeing as Arumat practically lives at the barracks, he'll spot Rebecca soon after she arrives. The sight of an archer near the barracks isn't an unusual one at all. [The glow fades and dims. Rebecca was perfectly intent to just go on her way, but Arumat changed from "neutral" to "enemy" as soon as he readied his scythe. She twirls an arrow, the signature of her critical hit, and loads her bow. She waits exactly two seconds before firing at the man she's never even seen before.]

[Arumat isn't waiting around to see just how much damage that arrow can do. In one swift movement, he'll sidestep, bringing his scythe around in an attempt to knock the arrow right out of the air.]

[Have two more arrows. Since Arumat is not moving closer, Rebecca's going to test the water once more. If he's not going to attack, she's going to flee. No point in attacking neutral targets.]

[He's going to move closer, but probably not in the way Rebecca expects: instead of running towards her, he's going to literally vanish and reappear behind her, attempting to strike her with the shaft of his scythe. If she's going to attack without provocation, Arumat is going to stop her before she hurts any innocent bystanders.]
