[Everything has changed since Rebecca was taken. Her best friend is gone. Her roommate? Returned home. A close friend of hers had died. Before she can find out any of this, though, she has the side-effects of her own recent experiment to deal with.
It starts near the barracks, where Rebecca wakes up. She's not the same, though. She has a faint red

But she's got something else to deal with first, it seems.] R-Rebecca... [She swallows, not wanting to have the conversation she's about to.] You're back.
[OOC: I... have no idea where I want this to go, whether I want Lyn hurt or what. But there's no way she could possibly ignore this.]

[ooc; it's up to you! X3 And of course not, I was hoping Lyn'd reply.]

Rebecca! What are you doing? [Fear, betrayal, anger, and shock lace her voice.]
[OOC: I guess we'll just go with what comes naturally. She'll protect herself as best she can, realize what's happening and the fact that without healing magic she can't possibly dispell the effects, and then... well I can't see her running away is the problem, she'd more likely try and knock Rebecca out. So either she has to be taken down or she just chases her all the way to the fountain where Adell is waiting.]

[ooc; I'll just have Adell jump in after they get to the fountain, then, okay? ^^ It works for me. I actually meant to PM you but forgot. orz]

But Lyn does have two things going for her. Speed, and the fact that Rebecca can't attack her at close range. Immediately after dodging the arrow she rushes, hoping to close the distance enough that there's no chance to fire.
Meanwhile, her mind runs through possibilities of what the Malnosso could have done to make her act this way...]

Still, a leg wound is not the sort of thing you want to have when running after someone. It slows her down, the pain distracts her, if only a little, and just generally it's bad news all around. But Lyn doesn't let that stop her. Instead, she calls on Kipinn, gathering wind beneath her to help speed her steps and lighten the impact of her feet, lessening the effects of the wound.
Still she tries to figure out what's wrong here. Rebecca's acting like she's completely lost her mind, like she's gone...
Berserk. Of course.] Damn you, Malnosso.

And when she's out of the forest, still with Lyn trailing her? She's going to try and have a stand-off at the fountain. When she finally gets there, she has her bow ready again, and she's ready for a fight...even if she doesn't really know who she's fighting. All she knows is that she wants to defeat Lyndis.]

But now the girl's stopped, and if she can just close the gap between them she might be able to stop her before something really nasty happens. Gritting her teeth against the insistent pain in her leg, she charges head on.]

Rebecca?! Do you need help?!

Only to hear someone else call out. She doesn't turn towards Adell (that could be a death sentence) but she shouts, in a breathless voice-]
Look out! She's not herself!

[Lyn's words barely echo into his head as Rebecca knocks the arrow and lets it loose at him.]
