It's been a really long time since I became an archer, but I think I like swordsmanship better. It lets me get a lot closer, and now I can defend myself if I get attacked! Isn't that great, Jaffar? Now no one has to worry about me!

Adell, Nino, you've got to see this! I think I'm getting pretty good!

Well, yeah. It means you can actually stop your opponent if they draw too close. But you really didn't sound like you had much interest in melee combat before.

Well, this is a lot better, don't you think? Archery is still fun and all, but I should be able to do both! Being a swordsman is a lot more cool, anyways.
