My misery has overcome me like darkness on a fallen star. I glance around and see stability has no meaning or place in my mind. I see a smile turned upside down, washed away by the tide full of the waves of change. I yell out and no one hears as the exigence doesnt seem to be there. Did our friendship even matter? or was it a mask you put on to appease my feelings. I was tosed aside by the everlasting thought that a better place existed. The place is only in your mind. The roads you travel are hope and oppurtunity turn so fasty into distrust and anguish. You'll look around and wonder what spell was cast over you to place you in this enchanted place. I'm still standing here waiting for the time to return, so i keep setting my watch back, hoping that time will replunish to when our feelings were good. You say youve changed because of time. I say time has changed and you WANT to change because of time.
