When blackmailing someone, one should always attempt to remain as anonymous as possible, and demand as impersonal rewards as possible. The longer you blackmail someone the more likely you are to lose your anonymity and impersonality so be quick about it. In a letigious society such as ours or in a more righteous one, being caught blackmailing can ruin you, occasionally if not more often than what your victim would suffer if you were to release the information. So it becomes a M.A.D. scenario. This is important to remember no matter which side you are on. As the victim you have a great deal of power, never forget that. As the Black Mailer you too have power, but it's a fleeting thing.
