In the middle of all the action in Pylea, sometimes it was easy to forget that it wasn't always the people in the middle of battle saving the day. But even up at the castle away from all the fighty, there were things to be done. And someone small and easily overlooked was just the person to do it.
Loki
Loki was tiny. Loki was sneaky. Loki was, most importantly, Loki.
So, it should come as a surprise to no one that he was busy spying on their new friends.
Silas
Their new friends, or the terribly evil Covenant of Trombli, could currently be found in what would best be described as a plotting session.
Because they were evil. Evil, mind.
"In what temper did you find her?" Silas demanded.
"She appeared greviously distressed over the impending com-shuck, Master," another priest replied.
"Good," Silas said. "We will add more heads to her collection that she might never forget who is the master here and who is the servant." Cheery fellow, wasn't he? As his subordinate bowed and left, Silas turned to a palace guard. "You. Her three friends who escaped through the waste canal -- send a hunting party after them. They escaped south into the woods, near the rebel base."
"It shall be done, my lord," the guard answered.
Loki
Loki sighed at that, pondering if he really must warn them all of the impending doom. Then, once he decided that Tara made up for the annoyance of the others, he closed his eyes.
He rubbed his hands together, gathering green sparks for a moment before blowing upon the 'embers' as though to ignite a fire. What was produced was a very small, very green firefly. "Shoo. Make great haste to our allies and warn them that they will soon be missing a head."
A beat.
"Perhaps do not warn the Ares-son, though."
And it was gone.
Wesley
Wesley blinked as that odd... firefly thing retreated.
"...What?"
Loki, Wes. Loki.
Tara
"That was cool magic," Tara said, mostly to herself, and rubbed at the bridge of her nose. "Um, I think it was saying is we need to move before we get, you know. Attacked."
Kennedy
"Cool," said Kennedy, completely unphased by getting a message via magic. She grinned a little ferally. "If we get attacked, we'll handle it."
She sounded way too hopeful about that. Someone get her out of this dimension.
Alex
Had the firefly thing just...forgotten Alex, or. Oh right. Loki. "Yeah, we should head out," he said, not even noticing the pun there.
