Work is on the knife's edge, asshole customers, shitty work conditions (no heat, no breaks, no water) and an industry that was struggling before anyone even uttered the word recession. Doin' it for the love of it just doesnt quite cut it.
A hundred dollar paycut? Suuure, sounds great.
Considering i have love for very little at the moment, i would go so far as to say i love that hundred dollars.
It makes me warm and fuzzy on the inside, gives me excitement and pleasure, and short of taking me on dates and buying me flowers (both of which it could do) it IS my significant other.
Job satisfaction is a myth.
