As a general rule, desserts are intended to be sweet. Not as sweet as pudding, as fruits are a reasonable desert, but all are sweet. You should be careful about moderation, however. They'll make you lethargic if you eat too much.

So is water, of course, but even water can be a poison to us if we drink too much at once.
