so whether or not  you guys read the paper or watch the news every night, im sure most of you know about the murder of judge leftkow's husband and mom. now, murders happen daily in this hell we live in, but this one really did scare me.

pretty much every year since about 5th grade we've learned about WWII and nazism and the holocaust. its always been something ive been more interested in, why i dont know, but i am. after all these years of studying WWII and more importantly nazism, on top of all the books we have read portraying the topic, ive come to the conclusion that neo-nazism (people that pretty much worship hitler and almost live their lives like a nazi.(ex. hating jews)) is quite possibly the scariest phenomenon i can think of. you guys are probably thinking, well you know there are terrorists out there that are killing innocent people- but the way i see it is, its the way of life they were brought up living- my figuring is, if you see a terrorist about to blow himself up in a square of hundreds of people and you look into his eyes, you would see determination. hes doing what he thinks needs to be done to insure the protection of his religion. fair enough. (by the way im not saying that its ok to do that either im just using it as a point of perspective).

on the other hand, if you looked into the eyes of a neo-nazi before he murdered a jew or a person that did not believe in the way that he lived his life, i think you would see sheer hate. sheer hate in the eyes of someone who worships a man that killed millions of innocent people. to me, nothing can be more frightening.

i try to think about waht it would be like to have witnessed the murders of judge leftkow's family, the terror in their eyes reflected by eyes of piercing hatred. it is terrifying trying to imagine someone with such a distorted view on life and the world. it completely perplexes me, the way that these people identify hitler as their role model. i was talking with my dad tonight about this on the way home from physical therapy, i was completely distraught by all the thoughts i already layed out for you, and said "i think the government should either kill all the people who worship hitler and build their life around hatred or exile them from the country" -overall, it sounds like it would lead to a quite peaceful place. but then we would be reenacting what hitler did- singling out a specific people and discriminating against them because of their beliefs. however, im still not finished figuring my beliefs on all this

this entry probably didnt make any sense, or mean anything to anyone thats reading it, but i just felt like i had to get all that out- and since im a faster typer than writer, my feelings pour onto this screen. leave some comments on your opinions so i dont feel like a cynical mastermind.

(p.s.-dr. said i can tryout for soccer! woohoo!...u all better watch out)
