love will never be lost on me.

I must say that I have enjoyed the past two days to the max. I went to the VMI football game on Saturday, and then my Brandon came home with me. We went out to eat and then to the movies. We spent the whole day together today too, part of which was spent laying in my hammock. aww.
Part of the reason the past two days have been so great is the weather. It's been gorgeous. I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but as far as seasons go, I really like fall. The weather on Saturday was perfect football weather--bright and sunny, windy, and crisp. I've always loved the word "crisp" for the weather. It's so descriptive. It wasn't quite crisp though...it leaned a little to the warmer side of crisp. But it's just such a good fall word. I like fall's wardrobe too. I've worn pants and long sleeves this weekend and been comfortable. I like it because you don't have to lug around a huge coat and gloves and all that stuff. Ah...just think about today--wasn't it pretty?
There is something I've been meaning to mention here. Every time I go outside at Western, I think of this: smoking makes the prettiest people very ugly. It's just not attractive, and I see so many people who would otherwise be so lovely sucking on cigarettes, and it really just turns me off. -steps off the soapbox-
Call me a nerd, but I am excited about going to Northside's homecoming game. I'm most excited about seeing my friends who are gone. I also just miss having a football team to go and watch every week. Perhaps that's why I've become such a devoted VMI fan...No, that couldn't be it. That's another thing about fall; it's football season! And while I definitely don't keep up with football on TV, I do like to watch the occasional game outside, in person. It's just so...all-american. haha.
Oh, I need to stop procrastinating. I love you all. See you soon!

Peace sign.
