Last night was amazing... .. .
So last night was great. Ashley, Travis and I went to the masquerade to see Mest. 3 other bands opened for them - dynamite boy - fall out boy - and start trouble? maybe i think it might've been.. i ended up with their flyer so im thinkin that's who they were =oT
so as soon as we got in we headed to the floor which was cool cause i've been to 2899287289378921 concerts, but never been on the floor that close before. therefore, i was not expecting to be thrown into a pit =o/ i didn't know the rules... stand on the floor... you're going into the pit. simple as that =o( so everything was cool we were all jumpin and having a good time when all of the sudden out of nowhere this HUGE pit formed right in front of us.. which was cool at first.. then it was over and we all made it through alive the second band came on stage and we got even closer.. which means now the pit will form behind us.. out of nowhere travis disappeared ashley and i were getting pushed to the ground and then some jerk face boy threw me into the circle =o( *now... i'm all for watching pits and pushin people around.. but i sure don't want to be the one runnin around in the middle gettin punched.. i was not happy* so then i got out and it was still goin on so ashley and i were fighting to stay up.. we eventually got detatched from each other and both ended up falling all over the place. *the pits are definatly for the boys or the manly women... not me and ash* but all in all it was a good experience i guess you could say.
so after all this was said and done we headed to the right side of the room.. off the floor.. and stood next to the stage where all the bands were hiding out. it was funny cause there was this revolving type door and i kept pushing it open asking the stage crew guy where tony was *i neeeeed tony, wheeeeeeeeere's tony* (lead singer of mest) lol i was a wee bit drunk by that point so it was a lot of fun... but while we were standing there watching the band play the bassist (sp?!) from dynamite boy came out and ashley and i got a picture with him.. that was cool. we took lots of funny pictures.. like one of travis running up the wall... and ashley with her dork hat on moshing with travis.. good times.. anyways.. so then after waiting alllllllllll this time.. mest finally got on stage and put on an awsome show. they really know how to move a crowd.. and travis has proof.. a couple times he went back into the pit and the poor thing has some nasty bruises to prove it... so nasty that by the time we got home they were already purple =o( *eW* when mest started the last song *cadillac* tony made everyone inside the masquerade get onto the floor so we could start one huge pit and we all went in.. and jumped our butts off.. last night was amazing! =o)
