Well. I kinda went AWOL there. Busy times.
So for challenge #13: Create a fanwork, I am posting photos of 2 things I've made that are fan-related.
For Dragon*Con one year, HeadBoy and I made dress uniforms from the TOS universe. I had to adapt mine just a little--I did not make a skant because, ugh, NO. So I used the male tunic top and wore a skirt to beat the Atlanta heat. I did wear black boots. That was enough.
HeadBoy made the little rank triangles. This is for a Commander, which is my rank in Starfleet.
This is my ST quilt top. I copied it from a quilt I saw on etsy. (I made it for us, and won't be selling it so I'm not violating some maker's ethical code). It was pretty easy but to get that zig-zag pattern I followed the photograph of the quilt closely.
I haven't quilted it yet, but it's next up on my to-do craft list.
