ugh. i'm so BORED
I hope everyone's having as exciting a day as I'm having. Because its not possible for it to be any less exciting. It's monday and really really quiet at work. Hence, boredom.
Anyway, my laptop should be fixed. Well, only in the sense that I now have a new adaptor for it. Yay. Of course the modem probably still doesn't work. But that's okay. I'll have photoshop back - although I'll probably have to relearn everything that I once knew.
Also okay. And the boy paid for it - which means I now owe him money :P But I suppose we can cope with that.
I so wish that I could be in bed right now. Seriously. I don't think I really slept much over the weekend. Actually, I know I didn't. We went to the law ball on Saturday night, which was really fun. And a good excuse to get really dressed up and swan around with swanky law students. And watch them get drunk.
It was also the first time being out with the boyfriend's friends. Which was an initially nerve wracking experience. But they are mainly nice, actually they are genuinely nice. Which is good. It was just interesting because one of his mate's girlfriend quite obviously didn't like me. As in she made no effort to conceal her dislike. The only thing she said to me all night was "Are you Amy?" - which I'm not. Lol.
Oh well. This is why I don't really like hanging out with girls. Because they just get bitchy and nasty when they feel threatened or whatever. I took great pleasure in the knowledge that her boyfriend told mine that I was hot.
HAH.
Yeah, it's a stoopid thing to be happy about. But she was honestly just not friendly.
Apart from that it was a great night. Really good food, the band(s) were awesome and it was fun. Plus excuses to get dressed up are also great. You feel all pretty and whatnot for the night. AND you got a wee gift bag with 42below vodka and a shot glass that says 'Law Ball 2006' and miscellanious pieces of paper. One of which was a two for one coffee voucher. Fun times :)
