Checking in
Whew! It's been a while, but I've been sick. Sick, but still having to work. That's the worst. For some reason I go through phases in terms of extracurriculars. The past week or so, I've been doing nothing but reading books. Granted that's probably because the books Dave loaned me have been completely amazing and addicting.
Just a quick update. A friend of mine from France just moved to Newton, actually fairly close to my apartment in Boston. A very strange way to meet up again, but i am hugely excited to get to see her!
Tonight I am going to see the Boston Ballet's A Midsummernight's Dream. I was reluctant to go before, but now I'm fairly excited. It's free, and I haven't been to a ballet outside of The Nutcracker as a kid. The rule in my family is you always have to try something once (it usually relates to food, but I've stretched it). I'm going to try to become cultured. Outside of my books I don't know how well that'll work. I'll give it a shot though.
