friday morning i went to clark university/the worcester art museum for art allstate. it was so so much fun. i was wicked scared of getting there and not knowing anyone really which was how it was except for liz but i didnt see much of her either yesterday or today. so we watched a student slideshow and got into our studio groups to make an installation which ended up taking my lovely studio 1-up about ten hours or so to make. it was nuts and neat and the artists we worked with were amazing. adjectives. this girl becky went to risd and was a fashion designer for like reebok and donna karan and things and the other woman connie was a nut she was so crazy. i think she is the most entertaining, eccentric woman i have met. all she drew were dolls with dismantled limbs and she was this old woman and she dressed like a doll. i regret not bringing a camera. i grabbed photocopies of polaroids from the walls of the installation before we destroyed it. i also got some plaster and cute fabric

. my roommate friday night was olga. she was this incredibly nice russian girl who i barely talked to because i was so tired. it was maybe 1230 before we got back to clark watching this crazy guy tell us about his tape murals for about an hour. but he was awesome. i wish i remembered his name http://www.tapeart.com/ his name is michael townsend. i looked on google you dont have to go there but you know in case youve read this far and are interested. nonetheless he was a really funny guy.
i dont really know how to explain the installation. it had like uh a tunnel and dangling cast plaster feet and um silhouettes and things and um lights. some of the other studios installations were amazing. again i wish i had photos but uh maybe the worcester art museum will have some up sometime
oh! also , buy books by jarett j. krosoczko. he is cute and his books are too.
