New Phrase

Lately I've been thinking about this newly developed limerence-based concept. I think I need more opinions on it, especially from the gays, since it's about them. I call it Homolimerent Reflection, which is the state of becoming like the same-sex limerent object. I am under the impression, though it can be changed, that it would only occur in homolimerence, since the flavorless breeders heterosexuals think of themselves as inherently different from the other gender. In short, it is the following subconscious thought process: if I can't have you, I can do the next best thing: be like you.

Two possible justifications: 1) I won't need you, because I will have in myself what I like in you. or 2) If I'm like you, maybe you'll like me.

Keep in mind: limerence is ridiculous. There's no intelligent base to this reaction.

Some people I've talked to have said they've experienced this, and I myself have to some degree. When I've done it, it has been painfully obvious and completely concious.
