The one that got away
Well I worked today...I don't even know if I should go into it or not b/c I have the same feelings that I've had before in every other entry I've written...The only thing different about today is that I got to boil out the fryers today...WOO HOO...yeah that was sarcastic for those of you who didn't catch it...I had to work till 4 today and it sucks...I'm so used to getting off at 3 which is perfect b/c that's when everything gets done...But when you get off at 4, you have an hour of just NOTHING...busy work and orders here and there.
Went fishing with Bobby and Mitch after work...I was friggin' tired, but wanted to share in the comradery of the situation...lol...I love that word...comradery...The first cast Bobby sent out, as soon as it hit the water, I swear, he got a fish...It was so strange...Then he got 3 more in 2 minutes after that...I was like "okay"...Here, lemme try...I cast her on out there, and I got a couple more...Then I got addicted and couldn't stop so Bobby decided to jump into the lake, clothes and all, scaring the fish away...He found a crawdad and pulled it's butt off, pulled all the meat out, and put it on the hook and said that was great bait...I sent cast it out and reeled it in a couple times, then I got a bite...Oh boy...I knew it wasn't the measly little Sunfish we were catching before...I pulled up and started reeling, but the dern thing got away...I was pissed...I was determined to get that fish tho...I kept on and on...Then another decided to toy with me...This time I gave a little more time to get hooked on, then pulled up...He came flying a bit above the water and ya know what happened...HE GOT AWAY TOO!!!...I washed my hands of it from that point and we left soon after.
When we got back to Mitch's I fell asleep in the recliner around 7:40...I woke and it was dark...I looked around confused...I didn't know where I was...I couldn't see a clock anywhere...Oh my gosh...What time is it?...Do I gotta be at work soon?...Where am I?...I looked at my cell phone and it said 9:45 PM...I sighed and realized where I was...That was one of the weirdest feelings...I hate it when that happens...So I walked upstairs and told Mitch I was going home...I felt all draggy...Got home and layed down watching TV and fell asleep again...Sheesh...There's something about sleeping during the day or earlier than usual that I don't like b/c now I just feel all drained and I DON'T LIKE IT!...I woke up again at 12 and didn't really wanna go back to sleep so I got up, got a Sprite, and went outside to read.
Now I've just recieved some very distressing news and must go meet the parties involved.......
