Okay, this is isn't exactly a "helping the helpless" gig, because I'm pretty sure she is not. Helpless, that is. But she could be in trouble, with her track record, and it was
a request. Anyway, I owe her a rescue.
Finding out where she flew to wasn't that tough, as it turns out, because she posted the time of her departure in Boston, and Warren told A. something about San Francisco. I managed to hack into the passenger manifest (thanks, Cyvus Veil, for providing those skills) of the ony flight in question, and lo and behold, one Kara Marie Keating on the 6:45 flight from Logan.
Then it got trickier. For starters, by the time I found that out she had already landed, so there was no way I could have intercepted her at the airport, even if I had managed to get to San Francisco from Los Angeles. Secondly, I don't know San Francisco. Thirdly, just because she landed there doesn't mean she stayed there.
So I went back to basics. Assuming her father was whom she wanted to see, she must have found him somewhere in the wider San Francisco area. So I started phone calls to men called Keating over the age of 40 (they tell you their age if you ask them whether they want to be considered for an invitation to the Governor who needs the appropriate age group). Am now arrived at Keating #51 and counting. In between, I'm checking hotels in the wider San Francisco area for a Kara Marie Keating. (Hotel #34 doesn't have her yet.)
Tracking by smell is definitely a piece of cake in comparison. But I can do this, don't worry.
