Summary: Rose and her human Doctor lose everything in their London so they decide to move from all memories hunting them. However, Sydney's not what they expected it to be.

Rose walked around empty rooms of the Tyler mansion. Everything was packed, nothing left. Only walls and floor left. Not a picture, not a forgotten toy in the corner.

“Mrs. Noble, everything is loaded. We can leave now. The flight is in 4 hours”

She turned around.

“Thank you James. I’m coming. Is John in the cab already?”

“Yes, waiting for you”

With a nod she turned to take the final glimpse of the place where for once she had a family, Her father and her mother, Her brother, Her husband. She sighed and left the house for the last time.

Cybermen turned up once more, but unlike all other times Rose and her Doctor had no chance in fighting them as they were climbing Everest. Probably that was one of Donna’s leftovers. They came home and found it nearly destroyed and empty. They searched for weeks but failed to find any sign of Jackie, Pete, even Tony. All Torchwood was deleted. No one survived. Once again they were alone in an alien world. It became clear quite soon that living in London was impossible. It just hurt too much so they decided to move as far as they could on Earth. After a short research they picked Sydney as their destination and moved.

They watched the ground go away as the plane took off. The doctor squeezed Rose’s hand as they watched the London Eye and a few left zeppelins fade in the distance.

“Do you think it’ll ever get better?” Rose asked him staring through the window.

The Doctor watched her closely.

“We’ll never forget them and the way we loved them. It will never be lost. But the pain will get easier in time. And moving will definitely help” he sighed. He’d never thought that he could grow to love this family so much. As much as his own even. And losing everything again was not the experience he was looking forward, but this time it was different. He had Rose, and he was everything she had now. And he was strong enough to get through it.

It was a long flight and they didn’t talk much. It had already been said. All of it. This was time to say goodbyes to the old life, to all the ones they lost. This was time to remember. Head on his shoulder, she drifted into sleep. He put his arm around her shoulders and caressed her arm before falling asleep.

The first problem they encountered in Sydney was the fact that most of the passengers on their flight had some problems with documents. They either not existed, or were dead, or in some other places… according to the database. This was solved quite quickly though as the authorities claimed that was the result of Cybermen invasion. Then nearly none of the passengers got their transfers. The whole situation could be called odd if it wasn’t so soon after the invasion.

So after a few arguments and telephone calls they got the truck to pick them and their boxes and move to the house they rented. At least that was settled.
