tonight was the Ben Lee, Rufus Wainwright, Ben Folds concert. Lots of fun with Misty, Melissa, Blair and running into Evy and co. highlights of the night:
MEETING BEN LEE AND GETTING HIS NEW CD AUTOGRAPHED!!!

Rufus playing The Art Teacher and Gay Messiah
Ben playing Bitches Ain't Shit and a punk-rock version of Gracie Girl
BEN PLAYING BRICK!!!!
Ben closing with a very up tempo One Angry Dwarf
Ben having a cute bass player (first time ever seeing Ben with accompanyment)
Low Points of the Night:
Ravinia being a sucky venue that has a strict curfew policy which meant Ben only got to play for an hour and therefore did not tell any stories
Over abundance of Ravinia types who weren't really Ben Folds fans and got angry when we stood up in front of them. ITS A FUCKING CONCERT!
Stupid non-fans who got offended by Gay Messiah and Bitches Ain't Shit. jsut be glad Ben didn't play They Give no Fuck and yelled at you all for you damn SUV's taking all of the space.
BEN NOT PLAYING AN ENCORE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER
ben not playing combined numbers with ben lee and rufus like he usually would.
all in all though i still enjoyed myself. i will always love ben ben and rufus. :)
