time flies when summer school sucks
august what? that means i am seeing ben folds in ten days for the 6th time. sigh. he is so my hero. and i get to see him with misty and melissa and it is going to rock so much. lets do a little update of my total concert attendance shall we?
June 2000- Blink 182 with Fenix TX and Bad Religion. not a bad 1st concert ever.
July 2000- Blessid Union of Souls with that godawful Tim James. BUS rocked and was quite an awesome way to celebrate my sweet 16.
sometime in 2000- HANSON in Cincinnati with my sister. M2M opened and they sucked.
November 2002 (the day before thanksgiving)- Ben Folds at the Vic in Chicago. my first time seeing him and after that i became totally freakin obsessed. thanks Amy!
August 2003 John Mayer and Counting Crows at Blossom near Cleveland. went with Chels for her B-day. it was pretty sweet.
September? 2003- Ben Folds at the Guinness Oyster Fest. the COPS theme will never sound the same.
sometime mid-fall 2003- Ben Folds at University of Chicago with special guest Ben Lee. Ben Lee was frickin awesome too and together they sang 'I Touch Myself' which was hilarious. lee and folds also played some of the songs of "The Ben's" ep from when ben folds, ben lee, and ben kweller toured Australia together. f-ing kangaroos.
Sometime in 2004- Michelle Branch at Loyola with deckatree and Pat McGee band. forgot about this one
April 2004 (last day of finals)- Ben Folds in FRICKIN IOWA. that was an awesome roadtrip.
June 26 2004 Ben Folds, Rufus Wainwright and Guster in Indianapolis- as a pre-20th birthday present to myself, some interns from meinrad drove up for the concert which rocked. special moments included rufus and ben singing 'Careless Whispers', the gay messiah incident, patrick crying during 'Late', ben and guster playing 'Rock out with your Cock out', seeing what the guster guys looked like for the first time and realizing they were frickin hot.
July or something 2004- CLAY AIKEN at the Ohio State Fair. some weird french chick opened. claymates were scary. he was awesome.
November 2004 i was SUPPOSED to see ben in Leicester England but he cancelled due to illness :(
March or something 2005-HANSON in Dublin Ireland. that was some crazy awesomeness

so yeah out of the 12 concerts this next one makes, half of them have been ben concerts. AWESOME.
