Two outta three ain't bad...

Here are two of the three drabbles I owe people. Both are completely and absolutely G rated.

For thistlerose:

The request was Luna/Ginny and dandelion fluff.

The result is:

Late Summer's Daydream

Luna sits at the crest of Stoatshead Hill. She holds a dandelion in front of her face, remembering the yellow that it had been.

Yellow. The dress she wore to Bill and Fleur's wedding.

Yellow. The warm sunny feeling that fills her when she thinks of Ginny's smile.

Now the dandelion is white like the moon. (Moon) Like the cool air of the late summer evening.

She makes a wish (Sun and Moon together) and blows.

The wind lifts the seeds. The white fluff floats toward the Burrow. She she sees a splash of red (maybe) moving in her direction.

For antosha_c:

The request was Tenar and Ged. Autumn.

The result is:

The Farm Wife

The farm wife's work never ends. Tenar toils in the kitchen, teaching Apple about laying store for winter.

The tasks are rote. There is room in Tenar's mind for daydreaming...

A man works at her side, a man enjoying her company more than that of the other farm men with their strong drink and tall tales once the harvest is in. He has the one face she is sure she will never see again. The face of the first man she had ever really known.

She shakes her head to clear away the vision.

A man doing woman's work! Absurd.

For rhetoretician:

Coming soon... something about shampoo!
