It is September the second. Always the first day of school at Hogwarts, always Monday. They never really noticed this before. Now it seems so strange, no matter how many times Luna explains the temporal physics involved.
The three of them stand together at the entrance to the Great Hall.
"I feel like I am eleven again." says Harry.
"Me too." says Ginny.
"I feel like I am fourteen and a half." says Luna.
Hand-in-hand they enter the hall. Hagrid is beaming at them, waving. They see their seats empty and waiting... right in the center of the teacher's table.
