(no subject)
i like this. lj is now my personal documentation of my senior year. and how much freaking fun it is.
i'm writing this because i have an english journal and a lott of reading to do. but it's supposed to be a no homework night. i'm just a slacker. and clearly a procrastinator.
so this weekend me, leah, and josh drove up to terre haute, indiana for the fall midwest delegate's meeting. can we say party? we got there on friday and me and leah chilled in our room for a while, then met up w/ samir, then w/ john and jenny, then allison and meredith. when yazge and his friends got there we went to taco bell and had some of that. then we went to wallgreen's ("ASSORTED JAPANESE BATTERIES") which is always a good time. after that we headed over to the church for more food, a meeting, and compline. after that had a discussion w/ Fr. Paul which is always enlightening. after all of that we stuffed ourselves into cars and went to IHOP! huge group in ihop at 1am, allllways fun. haha it really was. there was a guy dressed up as waldo (from where's waldo) and whatnot. after that we went back to the hotel and since me and leah had our own room and one huge king sized bed, everyone chilled in there till about 4am when we decided sleep would be a good idea.
the next day i woke up by my phone (which was set on very high so it could wake us up) at 6:30 by chris and steve shadid who were at the eastern region delegate's meeting. after hanging up on them i put my phone on silent, so me, leah, and christina of course slept right through my alarm. got to the church half an hour late, then heard a speech by Fr. Dan then had our big SOYO meeting, then did the community service. after that we well went back to the hotel, got ready for the night, then drove back to church for vespers and dinner and the hafli. the band sucked but still had a ton of fun. after the hafli me, leah, jad, al, basil, samir, jerred, meredith, and i think some other ppl went to IHOP for the second night in a row. after that went back to the hotel but this time chilled in jad, al, and jerred's room for a while with leah, samir, allison, and john. after a while we moved back into mine and leah's room tho. the group was a bit more scattered than friday night but it was cool. me, allison, and john made a point of sleeping in the elevator lol. by about 5am it was pretty much just me, leah, al, jad, and samir that were still hanging out. after al and samir went to bed i kind of passed out. woke up like three hours later to go home lol. that really was a great delegate's meeting. i kind of liked the fact that it was smaller than usual cuz we were all able to hang out as one big group rather than have little cliques scattered around everywhere. God willing i'll be able to go to charleston in a couple weeks.
yesterday was halloween! good good times. i went to school dressed as an oreo lol, i'll have pics up on webshots as soon as it stops being gay. at around 6 30 i went over to ashley's house and we dressed up as doctors lol. drove us over to jill's and went trick or treating, then went in the house. it was ok, not really our group of friends but whatevs. me and ash decided to leave at about 9, then we went and picked up her brother and a couple of his friends from a party they were at. they're really funny (and hot lol. dont worry they're freshmen at rice not like 3rd graders at montessori lol). we all went to the hookah bar at fountain walk and watched saw which was NOT COOL lol. then drove us all back to ashley's and yeah. it was fun!
being a senior is probably the coolest thing ever. i think i'm gonna go start my homework now
