dear mr. president,
dear mr. vice president,
dear mr. speaker of the house,
how does it feel to be on top of the world?
how does it feel to rule a society where morals are so easily curled?
how does it feel to take charge of the entire planet?
wait, don't answer...just sit down and can it.
look at you mr. big man,
fighting wars and killing people just because you can.
you claw, bite, scratch your way up our social tower,
but if forced to stand alone you can only tear up and cower.
whaah! oh no, somebody help him find out where his daddy went,
we all know that you cannot survive without your silver spoon in your rear end.
go ahead and lie, lie away to the entire world all of the time,
god knows that we are ignorant enough not to mind!
we put you there once...oops our mistake.
now we have put you there twice...are we all completely insane?
oh well, i guess that really does not matter,
right behind you we all heard another devil's pitter-patter.
so go ahead and bring back the k-k-k,
and put on just one more elaborate self-righteous display.
it really is good to see,
just how far we have come in this land of the free.
because you know that when a black female goes in for a job interview,
she has just as much of a chance as miss suzy non-black, non-arab, non-latino, non-jew.
thank goodness white america does not breed hate.
THANK GOODNESS WHITE AMERICA DOES NOT BREED HATE!
it is good to see that we do not drown in our own pocket books,
and it is better still to know that we do not get caught up in physical appearances and looks.
it really does feel liberating to live in our utopian society,
where the value we protect above all others is socio-economic equality.
it is comforting to know that backward idiots do not think those damned mexicans are stealing our jobs,
it is comforting to know that women can walk alone on the streets devoid of fear of being abducted, raped or robbed,
it is comforting to know that we are not surprised to not see an arab behind the counter at the local convenient store,
it is comforting to know that we do not stereotype every woman wearing a skirt as a dirty little whore.
but it is most of all comforting to know that blacks receive every opportunity offered to whites.
and it is good to see that blacks really do have equal rights.
it is good to recall that when i went out with my grandmother i was never seated first,
simply because the color of my skin was much lighter than hers.
why are we all so damned blind?
why can we not seem to open our minds?
inside of me rests black, white and red,
but i am only one man when i lay in bed.
in us rests black, white, red, yellow and brown,
but we will be only one people when civilization comes crashing down.
go ahead, though, and listen to the poison that is poured into you,
and continue to believe and uphold the false to be true.
because here in america things are great if you are capable of turning a deaf ear,
and believing that things truly are as they appear.
