workshop series 09

This is a pre-announcement for a new workshop series I am planning for 2009, in support of my upcoming book: “fire from the cauldron”. I am writing you because you have expressed an interest in similar workshops, have attended workshops of mine in the past, or are a part of a network of people who are interested in the topic of the workshop. The purpose of this email is simple: I am trying to get a head count of people who are seriously interested in some or all of the workshop. This will tell me the size of the workshop space I will need to reserve.
The workshop series will be held in Portland. It is an exploration of the wheel of the year and points of the pentagram, from the Craft/Wiccan perspective. Naturally, there will be a slight interfaith flavor to the workshop, however the meat and bones of the thing will be Craft. Thus, it will follow the solar (Horned God) and lunar (Queen of Heaven) mysteries.
There will five installments to the workshop series, each workshop is a two day intensive (full day Saturday and full day Sunday). You are welcome to attend some or all of the installments, there will be a cost discount for people who attend all of the workshops. The rough dates and themes of the workshop installments are as follows:
1. Rebirth, element of air (First week of February)
2. Amassing personal power, element of fire (End of March)
3. Amassing community power, element of water (Late July)
4. Letting go, element of earth (First week of August)
5. Rest, element of spirit (First week of November)
The Cost for each workshop will be in the neighborhood of $120 per workshop or $500 for all five installments. Discounts will be given for pre-payments.
Please reply if you know that you are at least moderately interested in attending this workshop series and I will start a head count list.
