If the baby cooperates, we'll find out what we're having on Monday. I just recently started having a real preference on what it is, which probably means that it will be the opposite.
I'm just scared to death to have a little girl w/out a big brother to take care of her.
My belly is starting to outgrow my t-shirts. The bottom of every t-shirt I own has started creeping up over my belly button. Band tees have always been a staple of my comfy wardrobe, and I'm really sad that I can't keep wearing my weekend staple. I found one clothing company, Rock Me Mama, that reconstructs band tees for pregnant women. Catch: their cheapest shirt is $40. Its a tight ass Ramones shirt that I really wanna buy, but $40-$90 for a band tee? Seriously?
And its not like you can just go up a size in regular tees and call it good. To cover your belly you need length, not width.
We found our baby room furniture. I'm really excited to get it bought and put together. I think I'm going to sew our own crib sheets. Did you know a crib bedding set can cost $150 and you can't even use 1/2 the stuff that comes with it because it could suffocate the baby? People make a killing off exploiting expectant mothers. I can spend $20 on fabric & make my own damn sheets. They'll match our "Goodnight Moon" theme better, anyway.
