i have all the luck
so as you (my readers) may know, i've been spending the month of june in taiwan. the trip still has one week remaining and i got burned.
sunburned? no. more like 2nd degree burn.
how you may ask.. pure stupidity. it was a motorcycle exhaust pipe...and how? i was asking my aunt if she wanted to eat the chicken steak and turned to my left a little ..and bam. i'm asking her for ice instead-- seriously i have all the luck.
taiwan is filled with motorists who 95% are owners are motorcycle-scooters (who have their exhaust pipe shielded) aka not real motorcycles with really big exhaust pipes.
i struck gold and had my left leg singed by a fucking REAL motorcycle.
first hand account of 2nd degree burn...
what i best remember: looking at the whiteness of my leg and then realizing the 1st couple of layers of my skin have curled away.
that was yesterday evening 6/18.
and today it's a lovely oozing mess. whee.. yet another leg scar to be had. this one will be pointer finger-diameter sized.

i'm more cheerful now, except the sad thing is the 1st degree burns around the 2nd degree one...hurt more. alsfjlaasdfdlfjslj. :D.
