I was internally cooing at Baekhyun the entire time because the way he's depicted here is just so adorable and innocent and I'm just ???? what are these warm fuzzy feelings??? I just love his relationship with Baekbeom and how he takes care of Baekhyun because it's just so sweet and loving and the fact that he's the only one to care for Baekhyun and show him this kind of love in their household is just really saddening ;;
I kind of get his mother's reaction towards Baekhyun, but with the grandmother, it makes me wonder if she knows Baekhyun isn't really human(?) or like part of their family or something. I was so tense and frightened for Baekhyun when those bullies showed up and I wanted to scream because WOOHYUN HOW DARE YOU EAT POOR BABY BAEKHYUNNIE'S HONEY CAKES RHAT HIS HYUNG ESPECIALLY BOUGHT FOR HIM and I wanted to smack each of them for torturing this smol innocent baby child ;-; I felt sick just reading about what they were doing to him UGH
But I also wonder what happened to those three when the lightning struck? For a second I thought Baekhyun had transported himself or something but he was still on Baekbeom's campus so I was just like ???? where they go??? I was kind of surprised that he just walked into the forest and he somehow entered the fairy realm, like I wasn't expecting that? But maybe I read over something in the first part that explained that--
And AAAAAAAAHHHHHH WHEN THEY FINALLY MEET IT IS JUST ALL KINDS OF ROMANTIC AND FUZZY AND BEAUTIFUL AND WHAT IS LIFE when they meet each other across the clearing and all the flowers and trees and the wind and everything nature just whispers to Baekhyun that everything is okay and there's no need to fear- I'm just-- I really love the way you describe everything!!! And the way Chanyeol just holds him and makes him feel all secure and loved is just- it's so sweet and calming and I love every bit of it.
