well, it only took an entire year - in bits and pieces mostly due to the absurdity that is the commonwealth of PA - and our car is FINALLY legal in the state of Virginia. i guess i should start trying to accept that this is my *home* now or something. the Radford Powers That Be told J that it's about 95% certain that his position will become tenure-track this fall. if that happens, this is where we'll be for a good, long while. which, i admit, doesn't please me all that much. but, i don't have much say in the matter...
