Boston was so much fun! It made me really miss being in a city, besides the fact that I've never actually lived in one before. It's just so exciting to be around so many people and stores and restaurants. I finally got to see Chris and Caitlin's apartment. It's so nice and big, and a really nice location. I had dinner with them Thursday night at a Jewish deli type place with delicious looking sandwiches. We ended up watching The Devil Wears Prada back at their apartment for a bit before I went back to Holly's to watch Grey's. After Grey's I got icecream with Holly and her friend Julia and then went back to Julia's dorm and met more people. We sat on the steps for a while and watched an MIT frat party in progress across the street. Holly and I took a long walk across the bridge and through BU campus which was pretty and we got to talk a lot. This morning I met Holly for lunch after her class then took the T back to south station and the bus home. Dinner at my grandparents with my aunt. I've started my geography paper but still need to write one more page. I'm pretty far into Atonement and it is SO GOOD. everyone should go read it right away.
I am still way stressed out to the point where this whole college thing seems annoying and I don't want to think about picking classes for next semester because I know they will be so much work. It's a bit depressing. Also being in Boston made me sad that Vassar is so tiny and in the middle of nowhere. Not like I have a day to spend going into NYC either. Of course there's so much a love about Vassar, but this year has been kind of tough so far. I am dreading the second half of this semester. I really hope this frisbee tournament is fun and my knee doesn't act up again so I can actually play and not be in pain. I ran Thursday morning and should probably run again tomorrow morning but my right ankle is kind of hurting right now and I don't want to make it worse right before the tournament. I did a lot of walking in Boston so hopefully that counts as exercise. I really need to throw at some point tomorrow too and keep trying to get my back hand straight. At least the weather for the next few days will be nice.
Ahhh I hate not looking forward to school. It reminds me of high school.
