Hi, Guys
So, I'm aware I've been gone for far too long and every time I say I'm going to start posting more regularly I fail to do that, and I'm sorry.
SO. Quick update.
My apartment is shitty as every first apartment is. However for 2100 a month, I feel like I deserve better.
We're looking for a better place, but can't move out til August
Our upstairs neighbours are the worst and I hate them.
I work for Big Oil now. yay
But I work for Environmental, so I feel like I'm doing my part.
-I work for my best friend's dad, so while yesterday I got the 'You're doing a great job and I'm very happy you're here,' talk. I also got the, 'I worry about your job security, is this job going to pad your resume enough, have you thought of going back to school?' and that is super cute. Cause he's like my second dad.
-My job is pretty easy and I love the set schedule, but I really dislike the office setting. I am a liberal harpy and do not fit in with my coworkers as I am not married, do not have kids, or a nanny, and don't go to the gym. I feel like I'm a failure as a female, but at the same time I dislike that these women are stereotypes.
My cat is really cute. We adopted her from the SPCA in September and she loves me.
Her name is Whimsy
Aj and I are doing really well.
My eldest sister is having another baby! She's due on May 5th, and it's a boy.
I'm in the middle of writing the longest fic I've ever had. It's Hannibal Fandom, Au Gender Changes and currently 30,000 words. Yay!
