Death week and Human Nature

Nov 26, 2008 13:35

Okay, if you guys haven't figured it out from the title, It;s death week. The play's opening day is tomorrow and I have a huge interesting essay due, so I'll me MIA around here as of late.

No comments, no reading fanfics (sad, sad face) and none of the really rare, boring posts.

But i will be checking my email, and therefore I want your opinions on my essay topic.

The topic is: the nature of man, using Lord of the Flies as the main reference point. It's a mix of nature vs. nurture and is man inherently evil?

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, START YOUR RANTS.
In fact, if you have something to say that goes completely off topic, add it. I'm curious.

Also: I'm going to outline a small alteration that happened at lunch, and i just want to know: am I behaving like the typical jealous woman or is my anger justified?

I told the guy I'm seeing, I say seeing because not only am i not really 'dating him,' but also because I don't believe that high school students can date, and I'm a commitment-phobe anyway. I told him that I was cooking in my culinary class today and I'd get him food, he'd just have to stop by the main lobby where I was selling dance tickets. It's not that he didn't show that pisses me off, because he showed up, eventually, it's just that he completely ignored me. He'd told me that he'd be walking around with his friend April, but when she's talking to some one else is it bad for him to take his attention off her for two second to greet me? *fume*

Ugh.

rant, drama, eassy, ramble, sad-face, play
