Mother's Day
Wow! Another entry!
Yesterday was mother's day. It was lovely. We had mum, mother & father-in-law, babcia & dziadzius and Agata and Dom over. It was looovely ... we had a lovely relaxing afternoon. We made pork and lamb roasts, drank rose wine and had tiramisu and mudcake for dessert. I love hanging out with my family. Here are some photos ...

Washing up!
Earlier in the week it was Michael's birthday (Sef's dad). We went to a nice Italian restaurant for dinner. Michael wanted some 15kg dumbells for his birthday. I went out to get them. They were so heavy that I had to get the store attendant to carry them to the car for me. Then I had to carry (or rather, drag) them one by one into the house! And here is a photo of him just holding them up like they weight 200 grams!!!
I also did another fun run yesterday. It was my first ever 10km fun run. It was reeeally hard!!! I ran most of the way, had to stop a few times and walk but I only allowed myself 15 secs maximum each time before I started running (or was that shuffling?) again :) I had various niggles along the way, like a stitch in my tummy, then my left shoulder blade, then my right shoulderblade, then my hips hurt, and then I felt like spewing. It really wasn't fun!!!! There was another slow-poke girl that I played cat and mouse with all the way, and then she passed me again about 500m from the finish. I surprised myself by putting on a big turn of speed and managed to pass her again just before the end! I was feeling very negative during the whole race but then I felt a really good sense of achievement once I'd actually finished it. When I got home I had some princess tears to Sef about what a crap runner I am but then I rallied & got over it! Just got to keep at it :)
I'm not sure of my rank as the official results have not been posted as yet. I'm pretty sure its second last, although there were some girls that were walking all the way so maybe its 5th last!
Oh and guess what I'm on the WA marathon club website, competing in the race. Its a very unflattering photo and I look really pissed off but I'll post it anyway! :)
Has anyone been watching Lost recently? I've been downloading episodes from USA so I'm a bit ahead of everyone, but the most recent episode I watched was DA BOMB. It just keeps getting better and better. Apparently there are going to be six seasons in total. Although someone else said four seasons. I don't care as long as I finally find out whats going on!!!
Oh and good news ... my uncle Tomek and aunty Wanda are coming to visit is in September/October. Yay!
Last bit of good news - two weeks from now I am going to be sitting in a pub in Ireland with my good friend Patrick, drinking REAL IRISH GUINESS!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
