So I'm in a lot of debt but its worth it. I went to the states today and bought a berg larson mouthpiece for my tenor. My teacher told me I needed a jazz mouthpiece for lessons. I can't believe how much the sound changes with a different mouthpiece. I got some reeds and a new ligature for the mouthpiece which came to $200. But its worth it for my lessons and this is something I'll use for a long time.
I'm going to Toronto Feburary 13-16!! Its only like $230 for the hotel, tickets, and bus combined, which is pretty good. Josh and I are going to see the planet smashers and just chill and explore downtown toronto maybe hit up a comdey club or something. Its pretty exciting I've wanted to see planet smashers for so long and they never seem to leave montreal and toronto so here is my chance. Its weird to be going on a trip with just a boyfriend, no friends or family just him alone. Its scary but exciting, it feels really grown up. I'm so excited to actually go somewhere. I get soo tired of windsor sometimes when theres soo many places I could be seeing. One of the things I want to do more of is travel. I would love to outside north america and explore a different culture.
We have a house show coming up Feb 6th and keepin 6 show February 22. And singer tryouts Thursday we'll see what happens. I feel school is just starting even though we're going into the 4th week of the semester. I kind of just want school to be done for a while and summer to be here. I'm not ready for stress, midterms, papers, exams to start up again.
