Stories that cheered me up yesterday:
five ways rodney and sam never made out by agentotter is really one way that they did. And there's a second way which includes John. But the first one is FOR ME, even if that wasn't the intention, because I have a thing about the awesomely awkward conversations that happen in the SG-1 elevator. Like Jack adjusting Daniel's glasses, Sam laughing at Jonah hitting on the nurse, Daniel sneaking up on Jack, Jack cheating on a crossword... it's just the best place ever. And otter put SAM AND RODNEY in the elevator. Oh. I died.

SGA McKay/Sheppard in the SG-1 elevator. I have a secret plan to get otter posting her stories again, and so her writing something off the top of her head made me giddy.
The Twelfth of Never or The One Thing That Had To Happen to Jack and Irina (and five ways it didn't) by yahtzee63 evne though I've not yet read it. It's complete, but she will be posting one part a day for two weeks, so I'm saving it until I can read it in one go. Starts with the premise that according to Rimabaldi, no matter what else happened in the world, Jack and Irina had to have Sydney, and goes from there.
Embracing a Life of Crime by thestickywicket. A Firefly story set pre-series, that gives you pretty much everything you love from that universe. A little caper, a little romance, a little angst, and a lot of humour. Wash POV. (This one isn't new, just new to me.)emem
