The Hero in the Hole

My thoughts

I loved “The Hero in the Hole”, the way Brennan reacted to the fact that Booth was kidnapped by the “Grave digger” was awesome! I understand that she was mad Hodgins, but not that she didn’t trust him anymore.

Not everyone can be ‘compartmental’ like she is. It was not as if Jack didn’t want to get Booth back, definitely not, he wanted to catch the “Grave digger” just as much, he’s been obsessed with it since it happened, he told it to Angela when she found him in the lab working, he couldn’t sleep because he was terrorized. I could fully put myself in his place. As for Special Agent Perotta, I didn’t like her at all. to me she was kinda stupid.

Come on! Following them? Because they were suspected to have stolen evident? Okay, steeling evidence is not a thing to do, they could have put Vega under surveillance maybe he wouldn’t have end up dead. No, the better thing to do was definitely to follow Jack and Tempe. Grrr, that agent made me want to slap her big time!

I thought the Booth parts with Teddy Parker were awesome, like that we knew another slice from Booth’s past. I think, Seeley will always live with guilt no matter how much people tell him that it wasn’t his fault, or that he just did his job. He can’t erase his memories and those same memories of his past and what has happened to him made him the man he is today. And I really like him.

I thought though that there was a little bit missing in the episode. The scene of the reunion between the two when he finally jumped in the helicopter was way too short.

They hug and then we have the last scene in the cemetery.

Other than that, I loved the episode!
