Technically today was my day off, but I went into work to set up for our big event tomorrow.
Tomorrow my library is hosting the kickoff event for the Imagination Library program, brought to Floyd County by generous grants from the Horseshoe Foundation and the Floyd County Community Alliance to Promote Education. We'll have storytelling, crafts, facepainting, and, of course, sign ups for the Imagination Library.
And today I had to move about a million tables and chairs, decorate, set up the crafts, and put down tape for a "railroad track" leading people from where the press conference will be (we're having a press conference!) to where the activities will be.
I'm exhaustified. But this time tomorrow I will be having dinner with some lovely people and the event will be OVER. I love this time tomorrow. :)
