I have this thing where I'm tired all evening until it's actually time to go to bed. And then I am magically wide awake. Like right now. WTF?
Today was a busy day at work. I did two outreach storytimes. And it was COLD. But whenever I start to complain about doing outreach in bad weather, I remember the
Pack Horse Librarians and stop whining. So between my storytimes and doing some collection management stuff, the day passed by in a flash. Tomorrow we have, like, eleventy bajillion elementary school classes coming in, so that will be hectic. (Okay, so I may be slightly exagerating... it may be more like 4 classes. But still.)
Finished
Audrey, Wait! by Robin Benway, which I looooved. And
Violet in Private by Melissa Walker, which is the third in a series (and I have not read the other two). I liked it fine, although the super-gay new BFF was pretty (much completely) stereotypical. Umm... and this weekend I read
The Comback Season by Jennifer E. Smith, which was good (and set in Chicago, so points there).
Next up is
Freeze Frame by Heidi Ayarbe and then... maybe
Out of the Pocket by Bill Konigsberg or
Freefall by Anna Levine or... something completely different. A little less than two weeks until we make our decisions!
