i'm in a good mood! had a great day at work! kids in junior high are awesome - you can tease them and they'll tease you back!!! YAY! I love the little 7th graders and 8th graders... i have some problems with the 9th grade girls tho... at least the ones i met today - does anyone else have a problem with 14 yr olds walking around with hickeys on their necks? I know, I know, that was me once upon a time too... I feel as though I should take it upon myself and give them the line that my civics teacher gave me at that age... "A truly good lover leaves no marks. None." *sigh* what's really cool about this school, though, is that without being as ghetto as it could be, it's lawrence's version of an inner city school - which means that it's a low income school, everyone comes from the east side, the "projects", the home for pregnant girls.... so we have quite a variety of students here. It's really fun to observe, and I just know that I'm going to learn a lot from working here....
