carpet!
We just got new carpet in our house and IT LOOKS GOOD! and... THE CATS ARE TAKING CARE OF IT! *does the happy dance*
I'm bushed. My boss was gone sick today (like I have been for the last 2 days). I'm glad I was at work today, or all hell would have broken loose! Carol & I took over her duties, sort of. We dismissed the idea of even trying to carry on with assessments. She told us to, anyway. I took the 4th graders outside to enjoy the weather. I read "The Twits" by Roald Dahl to them too. They seemed to get a kick out of it. All the other kids got to play bingo & eat Kisses. It was a very laid-back sort of day. At least, for them. I had to go through hell and back to keep it that way! :)
