A real update!
The past couple of months have flown by. I don't know where all the time went.
Christmas was great! I went to Florida to spend Christmas with my parents and sisters. Chris flew down with me. Got to see a lot of aunts and uncles and cousins and such. Presents were good this year. By the way... Sandra, I'm glad you decided to leave your Christmas stuff up until the 6th.
Anyways, I had to go back to work on the 27th, which means that I had to miss my grandmother's 91st birthday. I didn't even realize she was that old. My mom threw a surprise party for her at one of the Chinese restaurants back home. I was sad that I had to miss that. If I had more vacation time to take off at work, I would have stayed the extra day. Oh well. That's how life is. Chris and I spent New Year's Eve at Kirk and Tabitha's house. They are our favorite couple to hang out with so it was a lot of fun. I had never seen Kirk drunk before so that was interesting. Chris got video of it all on my digital camera.
So this year is going to be super busy. I am in full wedding planning mode right now. I can actually say that I am getting married this year. I can feel my inner bridezilla coming out. My invitations are done. My mom brought them back from the Philippines with her and we addressed them over Christmas break. If she hasn't already mailed them out, she is going to in the next couple of weeks. My dress arrived in the middle of December. I had a feeling it was going to be tight around my chest because the lady measured that area wrong (although she still says she was right). I told her that my bra size was bigger than the measurement she took, but she says she can let it out some because there is extra material there. It was exciting to finally try on MY dress. Not the floor sample. It made me even more excited to get married. Anyhow, my next thing that I have to really get done is find a cake baker. Chris and I are going to a bridal fair on Satruday so hopefully, we'll find one. All that is left is little things to do - get the boy's tuxes, decide on readings and such, etc.
Well, I have not had anything to eat since 11 am this morning and I am starving. Hopefully, you won't have to wait this long until the next update.
