Bored...
I'm bored right now so I thought I would update.
My 10 year high school reunion was last weekend. I couldn't go. I had plans to go to Marie's wedding the Sunday before, and didn't have enough vacation time at work to take the entire week off. Oh well. I'm curious to know what happened. If I had the time, I really would have gone because I am super curious as to what everyone is up to these days. The only person I keep in touch with is Katrina, and we only e-mail each other once every couple of months or so. She just recently got engaged and is planning a wedding for late 2006 or early 2007.
As for my own wedding plans, Chris and I are going to have our engagement pictures taken this upcoming weekend on Monte Sano. It has been hard to get in touch with my photographer because last week was fall break. I need to send her an e-mail about what time and such we are going to meet her. I also need to ask her how much it will cost to have the pictures and if she can put them on her website also. I would love that so everyone can see them. Yesterday, I went to Hartselle to go to The Something Blue Shoppe. It is the oldest bridal shop in northern Alabama. Anyhow, they were the only shop in Northern Alabama that had the longline bra/corset that I wanted. So I took a trip over there to get it. On my way back, I stopped by the mall in Decatur to check out the JC Penney Outlet. A lot of stuff there, but there were way too many people and I didn't feel like digging through stuff. I walked around that mall for a little bit... there is NOTHING there. Half the mall was empty. It was quite sad. So I went home just in time to catch the Florida-LSU game. I'm sorry I did because we were outplayed and beaten so bad that it was embarrassing. USC barely beat Notre Dame. And looking back on the game, USC really should have lost. Oh well. Florida State lost to Virginia.
Today, I was going to go to a consignment shop to look for some wedding shoes and a petticoat, but they were closed. The reason I am looking for these things now is because I need to have them before my first dress fitting. My dress should be here in about a month or so.
