So another long break between entries. I guess I have been just that busy.
Anyhow, I accepted that job in the Nuclear Medicine department doing cardiac stress testing. I think it will be a good change for me. Right after that, my car was at Toyota for three days. My check engine light came on and I took it in. Apparently, my engine was misfiring, which was due to the fuel injection system. They told me that it would be unsafe to drive my car because the engine could blow up at anytime. That scared me enough to leave my car there and get a rental for a few days. I actually liked my rental. It was the same car, just newer. They rented me a 2005 Toyota Corolla S. It was awesome. Fully loaded. I was kind of sad to let it go. Luckily, I had some kind of mechanical breakdown insurance on my car since the warranty just expired and Geico picked up the majority of the bill. That made me happy.
Now onto wedding stuff. I paid the deposit to my photographer. Now, I just have to find a date so that Chris and I can have are engagement portrait session. I put a deposit on the place for the reception too. It will be held at the Huntsville Hilton. Actually, I think it's officially called the Holiday Inn Select now. There are a block of rooms for my out of town guests as well. I printed out all the save the date cards. They just have to be addressed and put in the mail. I have actually just been giving them to some of the people that I have seen already.
So I have been having trouble with the bridesmaids dresses. The other day, I learned from my mom that one of my aunts bought five bridesmaids dresses and a wedding gown for me while she was in the Philippines. While I appreciate her trying to help, I think a wedding gown is such a personal thing. I don't think I would even let me mother pick out my wedding dress for me. The bridesmaids dress is such a huge issue right now. I'm tempted to just say, "Here, this is what you are going to wear." As of right now, they are all picking out their own dress each. It's becoming a big pain though. Everybody likes a different designer.
Well, I am off to run some errands.
