I haven't really updated in a long time. I guess you can say I have been busy.
Two weeks ago, I finished reading Book 5 of the Harry Potter series. I was actually hoping that it would take me longer to read the books so that I would finish Book 5 right before I get the 6th book in July. Oh well. They were so good that I couldn't stop reading them. Plus, Chris was out of town for a week and a half and I really had nobody to talk to in the house. This series is awesome. If you would like to start reading, I highly suggest these books. I can't wait until July. The best part is that I thought that I was going to be in Chicago when my pre-ordered book arrives, but my trip actually got changed to the week before Harry Potter is going to be released. Awesome.
What else? Chris thinks that I should start reading his sci-fi books because he thinks if I like Harry Potter, I will like them also. Whatever.
This past week, I have been watching the NCAA men's basketball tournament. I was doing really well in the first round. This second round isn't going as well. One of my final four teams is already out of the tournament. Hm.. I went back to Dr. Nuthi on Friday. I was really questioning her this time. I am getting really concerned about this fishbowl effect in my right eye vision. She said that there is some nerve damage around the blood vessel that bled. Apparently, this can happen to some people. There is enough blood that it damages the nerve endings. There is a small, small chance that my vision will never be normal in that eye again. She said that she will keep monitoring me and she is praying that the nerve will be healed eventually. This is something she said that can't be measured by angiogram, or dilated eyes. Since it is internal in my eye, we can't really start digging in there to see what's going on. I'm praying too. That's all for now.
Oh, Chris and I got engaged on March 16. We'll probably be getting married in the Spring of 2006.
