[Complete] Chasing Fixed Love- Chapter 11
Valentine's Day was this past Tuesday. My Japanese sensei gave us giri-choco (obligation chocolate). (^_^) Which made me a bit happy although I was spending it alone by myself. They were selling single roses and as well many groups were have bake sales. I hope you guys spent Valentine's Day with someone special. Oh well, there is always next year. XP
-Reinne and Arashi were at a dress rehearsal for a fashion show that will be held on Christmas. With only a few days away until to the event, Kaori announced that there will be a surprise at the end of the dress rehearsal. Once everyone was done practicing and dead tired until their bodies ached, Kaori took the opportunity to announce the surprise she was holding back from everyone. Suddenly she talked about how her and the other fashion designers designed a wedding dress that they would like to showcase for the show. Kaori picked Reinne to wear the dress and Reinne was very honored to accept her offer. Then Kaori mentioned that they also made a groom outfit to go along with the wedding dress. Both Sho and Reinne anticipated that Sho would be the one wearing the dress but instead Kaori picked Nino to wear it. Sho didn't mind that Nino was picked instead of him but on the other hand, Reinne was a bit sad that she wasn't going to walk down the catwalk with Sho by her side.

Chapter 11
About 11 years ago when Reinne and Sho were in their last year of high school, Reinne made a decision to confess to Sho about her feelings for him.
It was a few days away from their mid-term exams and everyone was busy with studying to take entrance exams to universities.
Reinne had received a few scholarships from some universities who wanted her but she couldn’t decide which one to go to. But before she could worry about that, she had to make sure that she knew everything for the math exam that she had to write the next day.
But she accidentally forgot her notebook at her school so after school she decided to quickly grab it and then head to the library to study.
As she reached to her classroom, she overheard a few familiar voices coming from inside the classroom. She leaned her back against the wall and then peeped inside to see Sho and some of his friends. They were sitting near him and chatting about some things.
Reinne made a small smile and she was about to walk inside when someone had mentioned her name. She quickly hid and started to overhear their conversation. “Are you going to Keio University?” A friend had asked him. Sho shrugged his shoulder and sighed quietly to himself. He was preoccupied with work that he never thought about what he was going to do after he graduates. He was planning to continue with idol work but his parents were a bit displeased with his decision.
“Which university is Reinne-chan going to? Is she going to follow you again?” Another person joked and Sho got a bit angry with him. “Reinne-chan doesn’t follow me around. She’ll probably enter Tokyo University since her grades are really good.”
Reinne smiled and was a bit happy that he had defended her. “Well she is your girlfriend after all. I wouldn’t be surprised if she did follow you to Keio.” One of his friends retorted and started to snicker under his breath. Now Sho was pissed off that they kept mentioning her name. He didn’t want his friend to misinterpret their relationship.
“Reinne-chan is just a childhood friend. We happened to share the same birthday but I absolutely have no romantic feelings for her. She’s just a little sister to me. I can never develop any romantic feelings for her.” Sho said and started to pack up his things.
Reinne widened her eyes and his words had burned through her head. She couldn’t believe that he would never fall in love with her. She was heart-broken, depressed and hurt by this revelation that she quickly slipped away before anyone had noticed her.
She couldn’t even concentrate on her math exam the next day that she had almost failed the test. But her teachers knew that she was acting weirdly so they decided to give her a make-up test.
She passed it but with an average grade. She dropped down from 1st rank to 5th rank and everyone began to notice her often spacing out.
When Sho came back to school if he didn’t have any work, many people told him about Reinne’s strange behavior so he decided to talk with her. But Reinne wanted him to leave her alone. After a few days later, Reinne decided to go to Tokyo University just to avoid Sho as much as she could without being too obvious.
At least 15 years of being in love with Sho, Reinne was too crushed. She couldn’t even express her feelings out for him and she already knew that she was going to be rejected. She hid that fact deep into her heart until now, she is now confident enough to believe that maybe Sho’s feelings for her might change.
~*~It was finally the day of the fashion show. Famous stars and fashion designers had filled up the seats and the audience seats were filled with fans. The fashion show was held at Tokyo Dome but it seemed like Tokyo Dome wasn’t big enough to fill everyone who had wanted to see the fashion show.
The show was successful from the start and now it was time for the appearance of Reinne and Nino in their wedding outfits as the finale.
Reinne waited patiently as she was getting ready to go on stage with her big frilly wedding dress. She had to wait for Nino to finish changing into his suit that Kaori made last-minute adjustments to.
She hasn’t seen Nino in the suit that Kaori had mentioned about at the dress rehearsal, but she had a feeling that it was going to fit well with her dress.
Slowly Reinne looked up to see Nino standing at the other entrance to the catwalk across from her. He had changed his hair to go well with the suit and as Reinne looked at him, it had made Reinne’s heartbeat a bit faster. She couldn’t believe that he could look that handsome. She blinked her eyes twice just to make sure she wasn’t seeing things.
Nino cleared his throat, as he was getting anxious to walk down the runway with Reinne. They had a bit of time to practice before the show started, but he was worried that he was going to mess up. But what surprised him the most was that Reinne had assured him that he was going to be fine. Also if he did mess up, Reinne told him that she would try her best to cover it up so it would look like it was a part of an act.
He couldn’t believe that the girl he saw at Tokyo Bay and the person who was going to walk beside him is the same person. He grew intrigued by her personality and wondered why she acts differently when he’s doing her job to when she’s by herself and thinking about her life.
“Remember Ninomiya-san, don’t be nervous while you’re walking with Reinne-chan. She will help you lead you although you’re supposed to lead. Just act confident and smile.” Kaori encouraged the nervous Nino.
Reinne and Nino looked at each other and they were thinking the same thoughts. They had hoped when they got onto stage that there wasn’t going to be any mistakes or happenings.
The previous music started to die down and the music that Kaori had chosen to go along with their outfits started to play. The audience was already roused up from the excitement of seeing the models wearing the new spring line, as well as seeing Arashi for the first time, modeling in a fashion show.
Reinne and Nino were cued in at the same time and they met each other in the middle. Reinne smiled at Nino and Nino forced a smile back. She took Nino’s arm and they started to walk down the catwalk. They had looked graceful and beautiful.
Meanwhile backstage, everyone was waiting for them to be finished. At the end, after Reinne and Nino walked down the catwalk, all of the models were going to go back on the catwalk and do their last greetings before ending the show.
Sho looked through the TV monitor as he saw Reinne and Nino walking down the catwalk. He could see the girls screaming loudly and even some of the guys. Somehow Sho had a weird feeling inside him, he felt like he didn’t want anyone to look at her when she’s that pretty. He liked it when he used to talk and hang out with the old Reinne. Now that she is that popular, he was angry for not noticing her beauty 7 years ago.
Nino carefully walked back towards the starting of the catwalk. He was trying to make sure he doesn’t slip or accidentally step on Reinne’s dress.
“You’re nervousness is showing Ninomiya-san… Just relax.” Reinne whispered to Nino and he quickly smiled broadly.
But as soon as his thought of trying to not step on Reinne’s dress, he did and Reinne almost tripped. That’s when Nino suddenly caught her and their faces were only a few inches apart.
The audience squealed with excitement and even the staff members were surprised. While Sho felt his heart had dropped and he was a bit pissed that their faces were very close to touching each other.
“Ninomiya-san, quickly help me back up. I don’t want your fans to get even more angry at me.” Reinne said with a scared look in her eyes. Her heart was beating rapidly by this unexpected happening. Nino smirked and slowly leaned his head closer to hers, which made the audience scream louder.
Reinne could hear the quick flashes of cameras and angry voices in the background. “Ninomiya-san! What are you doing?” Reinne whispered loudly. She was upset that he didn’t do as she asked. “You know a few weeks ago I was out in the city and noticed that you got stopped for autographs but then someone noticed me and everyone flocked to me. How come you slipped away without saying hello?” Nino asked and Reinne widened her eyes. She had forgotten that the man she quickly scurried away from was him.
At first she didn’t know him that well so she had thought it was okay to let him deal it out by himself. With everyone too busy concentrating on him; she continued her jogging somewhere else. Then she suddenly remembered that the reason she didn’t want to help him was that because he didn’t help her in the first place. “I noticed you standing there and just curiously watching me from a distance. You’re a celebrity as well, so you would have understood what kind of situation I was in when those people wanted my autograph. Luckily someone noticed you as well and everyone ran away from me. I thought it was karma that you deserved.” Reinne said with a small smirk on her face. She didn’t regret making that decision but she had hoped that they could continue their conversation somewhere else. Reinne felt more awkward as each second passed as their faces were very close to each other.
Nino widened his eyes and thought he knew what kind of girl Reinne was but he was totally confused with her personality. He chuckled under his breath and helped Reinne find her balance with her feet back on the ground. “Are you free this Sunday?” Nino whispered quietly to her. Reinne furrowed her eyebrows and started to walk back, pretending that everything was just fine.
But before they parted to their separate exits, Nino said this to her. “I’m asking you out on a date.” She widened her eyes and almost dropped her mouth. Reinne was shocked that she made a person other than Sho to fall in love with her.
